Publicación Futuro ancestral. Soluciones basadas en prácticas ancestrales para el mejoramiento de asentamientos en condición de alta vulnerabilidad en paisajes andinos tropicales(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Huamaní Huapaya, Patricia Ysabel; Zambrano Bermúdez, David Antonio; Amico Tudela, ClaudiaThis research compiles the sustainable ancestral practices of cultures settled in tropical Andean landscapes that can be applied to the improvement processes of settlements in conditions of high vulnerability, addressing the current threats faced by these territories. The study is developed in four stages. The first stage examines the background and theoretical framework, while the following three stages correspond to the development of the thesis objectives. The second stage analyzes the forms of land occupation and the threats affecting settlements in conditions of high vulnerability. The third stage collects and analyzes, through the development of data sheets, the ancestral practices of cultures settled in tropical Andean landscapes. Finally, the last stage proposes solutions based on ancestral practices for two specific territories: La Bendición Settlement in Girón, Colombia, and Flor de Amancaes Settlement in Lima, Peru, through community workshops focused on socialization and co-creation.
