The result in the consumer market of Cauca, directly affects the consolidation and diversification of market portions both nationally and internationally and consolidates the permanence of the workforce in the productive activity of the “panela” sector and the improvement in their quality of life. Therefore, it is based on considering the characteristics of the “panela” sector, the market and the strategic projection both at national and regional level, from a priority line of action that facilitates solving the problems and meeting the “panela” sector needs, along with strengthening and modernizing the panela agrobusiness in Colombia and in Cauca. Thus, through quantitative research, the studies are approached: sectoral and strategic, market, technical and environmental, organizational, legal and financial, at the individual and at a collective level that examine the viability of the project and the decision-making regarding investment and operation phases.
