This study aimed to promote responsible use of GenAI among university students through a behavioral intervention based on the COM-B model and boosting methodology. The study followed a quantitative approach with an experimental design involving two independent groups, seeking to strengthen participants’ psychological ability and reflective motivation. Although the statistical results did not confirm a significant behavioral change, the descriptive analysis revealed a slight reduction in the number of queries, improved prompt structuring, and increased awareness of the environmental impact associated with using these tools.
