Ítem Campañas no partidistas basadas en estudios del comportamiento para aumentar la intención de voto : una investigación cuasiexperimental(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Salazar Martínez, Juan Camilo; Silva Jaramillo, SantiagoAccording to the research "Radiography of Disillusionment: electoral participation in Colombia", the demographic segment with the highest electoral abstention in the country are young people between 18 and 25 years old with 59% abstention. The present investigation sought to show how non-partisan campaigns based on behavioral studies can increase the intention of electoral participation for the national presidential and congressional elections of 2022 in young people eligible to vote in rural municipalities of Antioquia located in territories whose governance indicators are lower than the national average (Territorial Democratic Governance Index, UNDP). Through three treatment groups, we sought to identify and compare the effects of non-partisan campaigns designed under the concepts of rational choice, normative choice or social choice. The results of the non-partisan campaign based on social norms made it possible to demonstrate the effects on the increase in the intention of electoral participation in the young population of Bajo Cauca, Antioquia. This experiment allowed corroborating that the action of voting is, above all, a social act where the descriptive expectations established in groups and subgroups allow predicting and intervening in electoral behavior.Ítem Empujones para el pago a tiempo de créditos educativos(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Navarro Machado, Alexandra; Acosta Vélez, Kathalina Maria; Echeverri Álvarez, JonathanÍtem Intervención comportamental para aumentar la intención de expresar emociones en hombres de la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Sanclemente Pérez, Valentina; Abisaad Janna, Mariam; Lemos Hoyos, MariantoniaÍtem Intervención comportamental para fomentar que los funcionarios asistentes al Edificio Inteligente de EPM conocieran e implementaran el nuevo código nacional para la correcta disposición de los residuos sólidos desde la fuente en su lugar de trabajo(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Vargas Arias, Carlos Andrés; Ángel Toro, Carolina; Yarce Mesa, Sara Isabel; Velásquez Medina, AlejandraSeeking to solve the problem presented at a global level by the poor disposal of solid waste, a behavioral intervention was designed and carried out in the EPM Intelligent Building, headquarters of the Public Companies of Medellín, from now on EPM. With this, the knowledge and application of the new national code for waste disposal from the source was promoted, in which the Government, under resolution 2148 of 2019, stipulates that waste must be separated into white containers (recyclable), black (non- usable) and green (usable organics). The intervention was developed in two phases, the first focused on education and the second on altruism. In both phases, actions framed in the EAST and Mindspace models were carried out, reducing friction for the performance of the objective behavior. Two surveys were carried out, at the beginning and at the end, and also six measurements, the first before the start of the intervention as a baseline, the second at the end of Phase 1, three measurements during Phase 2 and the sixth measurement at the end of this Phase; through said monitoring, the obtained results indicated that officials were motivated to carry out the objective behavior and that barriers such as ignorance were eliminated. In addition to the previous information, a dynamic norm that promoted behavior change among officials was generated; it occurred when they observed that their colleagues were carrying out the promoted action. Regarding the decrease in the level of poorly separated waste, improvements that varied with the weeks in which the intervention was carried out were obtained, although the baseline was not exceeded for various reasons, the significant improvement that was observed stands out in the case of the white container, which shows the intention to change to carry out a correct disposal of recyclable waste.Ítem Intervención comportamental tipo nudge para incrementar la participación de los estudiantes en las elecciones a representante estudiantil de posgrado en la universidad EAFIT (Colombia) para el periodo 2024(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Rojas Saldarriaga, Mateo; Sanín Echeverri, Mizrain Edrei; Mazo Barrientos, Juan DanielÍtem Operadores responsables : del modelo EAST a la norma social(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Cáceres Escobar, Piedad Paola; Hernández Cañola, Liza María; Galeano Arias, Felipe; Vélez Zapata, SaraThe objective of this intervention was to identify how people's perception of their role changes, based on actions proposed by behavioral sciences, seeking to reinforce the stereotype of responsible operators in collaborators of power generation plants in a power generation company. the city of Medellin. For the implementation, a design was used under the EAST model seeking to mobilize the social norm, with pre and post evaluation of the results, which showed that the perception of people can change from interventions in which their context is considered, allowing the installation of behaviors based on new social norms that promote the adoption of safe practices within the operation. This change can be generated from messages that operate as Nudges after the segmentation of the population and the knowledge of the perceptions about the role of the operator in hydroelectric plants, thus facilitating the recognition of elements that promote the social norm.
