    Diseño de un modelo de negocio para la creación de una startup DeepTech especializada en servicios de biotecnología animal en Colombia

    This thesis aims to design a DeepTech business model for Regenevet Biotech, a Colombian startup specializing in animal biotechnology services. The proposal responds to an urgent need to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge produced in academic settings and real, scalable solutions for veterinary, productive, and conservation markets in Colombia. Using a qualitative and exploratory methodological approach, tools such as The Grid, Value Proposition Canvas, and Lean Canvas were applied, along with the DeepTech startup lifecycle proposed by Schuh et al. (2022), enabling the development of a flexible and scalable business model. Findings reveal that although Colombia has scientific capabilities in animal biotechnology, these have not been translated into sustainable solutions due to a lack of institutional articulation, limited access to funding, and cultural gaps related to advanced technologies such as cloning and genetic preservation. The proposed model presents an integrated strategy combining scientific rigor, emotional positioning, strategic differentiation, and a realistic roadmap for the gradual implementation of services. The study concludes that Regenevet Biotech has the potential to become a pioneering actor in the Latin American animal biotechnology sector, as long as it preserves its adaptability, ethical foundation, and focus on the real value its services provide to both human and non-human clients.
