Ítem Correlaciones entre algunas variables geotécnicas y velocidades de onda compresiva (Vp) y de corte (Vs)(Universidad EAFIT, 2017) Gómez Ramírez, Daniela; Tobón Ángel, Daniela; Sáenz Mateus, Edgar AllandThe main objective of this study was to determine correlations between variables and geophysical geotechnical parameters, which can reflect the wave velocities not only as differentiating strata, but as support extrapolation of geotechnical parameters -- We took 538 data from real engineering projects in the department of Antioquia and supplied by private consulting firms, which had the condition that in one site seismic and direct exploration studies had been done, with laboratory tests results, so that they could be correlated -- Qualitative correlations were developed according to NSR-10, which allows to classify the soil based on the shear wave velocities Vs in the first 30m -- For this, the descriptions developed through the perforations and pips in each project were taken, relating them to the S wave velocities for each layer, obtaining a categorization according to their physical properties such as density, compassion, degree of weathering, cohesion and hardness -- The quantitative correlations were made by dispersion graphs, relating geotechnical variables such as simple compression, densities, cohesion and friction angle with the P and S wave velocities -- These were the variables that showed a significant correlation and therefore replicable in soils with similar characteristics, while the resulting correlation between wave velocities and granulometry, can not be explained through this unique variable, since other parameters that determine the propagation speed of the waves in the ground must be taken into account -- It is recommended for future research that the data obtained be taken by the same measurement equipment to obtain a better comparability between the dataÍtem Estudio del comportamiento estructural al usar los diferentes métodos de análisis sísmico del Reglamento Colombiano de Construcción Sismo Resistente, NSR-10(Universidad EAFIT, 2017) Cardona Merino, Natalia María; Acevedo Jaramillo, Ana Beatriz
