Ítem Análisis comparativo de las percepciones y las actitudes de las mujeres de Medellín frente a los diferentes modos de transporte : un estudio para promover la bicicleta como medio de transporte(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Álvarez Orrego, Alejandra María; Rojas de Francisco, Laura IsabelÍtem Avances y retos para un modelo de movilidad sostenible en Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Aguirre Cano, Estefanía; García Arias, David; Jaramillo, Carlos H.Ítem Estudio de factibilidad para el servicio de alquiler de bicicletas eléctricas dirigido a domiciliarios que distribuyen productos alimenticios.(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Galeano Correa, Jessica Vanessa; Rendón Marín, Valeria; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioThe accelerated urban expansion in the cities which constitutes the metropolitan area of Aburrá Valley has impacted air quality and urban mobility. One of the primary cause of the current environmental crisis is the dispersion of pollutant generated by motorised vehicles. Of which motorcycles, represent 14 % of annual emissions of PM2.5 (Medellín CómoVamos, 2017), particulate matter and are the most used means of transport in delivery service. For this reason, the goal of this dissertation is to carry out a feasibility study for the rental service of electric bicycles. It is aimed at food service deliverers in the city of Medellin. The development of the project is carried out with the guidelines of the operation of the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development (UNIDO), which provide the data to determine the viability of the project and materialize the idea as a business opportunity.Ítem Estudio de factibilidad para un sistema de alquiler de bicicletas en la comunidad académica de la Universidad Eafit(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Mira Aguirre, Juan Guillermo; Ruiz Ramos, Omar Jose; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioThis document, the degree paper prepared as a requirement for the Master of Project Management of Universidad EAFIT, carries out the feasibility study for a bicycle rental project in the academic community of this university. For this, the guidelines of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) methodology are followed, which 10 allows to know the viability of a project through market, environmental, social, economic, technical, legal and financial studies, and perform a risk matrix. The idea arises from the identification of a business opportunity in Medellín, a city where there is a growing market related to sustainable mobility that show the incentive of the use of alternative means of transport such as the bicycle, the increase of people aware of environmental care and the increase in cycle paths –80 km of new ones in 2019–. All this makes the idea of implementing a bicycle rental project attractive, specifically on the campus that the university has in the city. The results of this research must provide a financial model and a matrix of risks and opportunities for the decision making of the implementation or not of the project by Renting Colombia, a simplified joint stock company.Ítem Movilidad sostenible en países en desarrollo : tecnologías y estrategias de transporte multimodal e inteligente(Editorial Universidad Nacional de Colombia. The execution of these projects requires complex management schemes and a strong articulation of actors and interests of the National and Municipal order, of the public and private sectors that allow compliance with the schedules and investments in order to achieve the objectives set for each of the Transportation Systems. The strong and rapid increase in private motorization in developing countries requires efficient and rapid solutions in public transport that counteract the negative externalities caused by mobility in terms of congestion, air quality, travel times, security roads, accessibility, coverage, technological obsolescence and deficiencies and non-compliance in the development of infrastructure. Cities and / or Metropolitan areas require state-of-the-art transportation systems that achieve more sustainable cities and impact the quality of life of the inhabitants. Implementing the visions and plans for sustainable urban mobility depends on the existence of forms of governance that support and promote this vision.
