Based on international experiences and a review of programs implemented in countries such as Brazil, Vietnam and Thailand, key strategies were identified, including fuel consumption regulation, tax incentives, and the promotion of clean technologies. This labeling system not only seeks to inform consumers about the energy efficiency of vehicles, but also to encourage manufacturers to adopt stricter standards and sustainable technologies, thus contributing to compliance with national decarbonization goals and international environmental commitments. Furthermore, the study highlights the impact of energy labeling policies in fostering responsible purchasing decisions and developing a more sustainable motorcycle market in Colombia.
