Ítem Análisis de las acciones de monitoreo en el servicio de acompañamiento a familias del Programa Nacional Cuna Más, en el distrito de Namora- Cajamarca, para el mejoramiento de la atención a la primera infancia durante el año 2015(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Martos Huamán, Elisa; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriqueMonitoring is a key process in the execution of social programs, it allows monitoring and verifying the fulfillment of goals and objectives, and implementing mechanisms for improvement and adaptation of the intervention, this is how the National Cuna Más Program has been readjusting some actions to overcome the gaps in child development in children under 3 years of age, through its two services: Nursery and Family Support (SAF). The investigation focuses on the SAF, Namora district, Cajamarca province; in order to analyze the follow-up actions, socialization of results and usefulness in decision-making in 2015; considering the implementation of technical guidelines. The type of research is qualitative, using interviews and focus groups with Program collaborators, authorities and users' families, to find out their perception, opinion and expectations. Based on the research, it is determined that the SAF monitoring is designed, regulated and executed, in a leading manner, by the headquarters team (Lima). In the execution, the team of the Territorial Unit and to a lesser extent the community actors, made up of Management Committees and Vigilance Councils, also participate in some way. The socialization of the monitoring results is carried out with the teams responsible for Lima, specialists and only with some technicians and / or community companions, but not with community actors. The results of the follow-up are translated into the reassignment of personnel by Management Committees, prioritization of messages about care and learning practices, application of new cards to measure the growth and development of the child, and reorientation of the budget for the implementation of the Nursery Centers. More. Few community actors are aware of follow-up actions; For this reason, it is recommended to share actions and follow-up results with all SAF actors, since the users themselves must be active agents of change; taking into account the development of an effective communication strategy at the national level, so that the program complies with the co-management guidelines.Ítem Analysis of relevant variables to monitor a photovoltaic charging station through the Function to Data Matrix (FDM) method(Institution of Engineering and Technology, 2018-01-01) Cárdenas-Gómez I.; Fernández-Montoya M.; Mejía-Gutiérrez R.The growth of the electric vehicle industry has brought the development of charging stations and the need for good performance of such systems. The large amount of information that can be monitored in these systems can represent a problem for a good operation in terms of control, computational cost and time. For this reason, it is necessary to make a selection of variables that allows to decrease the data-set’s size without compromising the quality of information, needed for a proper information management system. There are several methods for prioritizing variables, such as the Function to Data Matrix (FDM). This method takes into account the functional analysis of the system, as well as the operative states and their relationship with the basic functions and variables. This enables to obtain a Variable Relevance Indicator (VRI) to define which variables have a higher importance under a particular perspective based on the main function of a system. This article presents the process of analyzing a photovoltaic charging station through the FDM method in order to define the most relevant information to be deployed in a future remote monitoring system. © 2018 Institution of Engineering and Technology. Departamento de Ciencias; Modelado MatemáticoToday, airspace control has the challenge of merging information from independent and heterogeneous systems in order to minimize air safety risks and facilitate the decision-making process. One of the main risks for air operations is meteorology because convective formations like Torre cumulus or cumulonimbus could generate several dangerous phenomena such as icing, wind gusts, and thunderstorms, among others, that can affect the air operation safety. Based on previous works that allow the automatic identification of convective phenomena through the fusion of multispectral satellite images and other sources as winds and Meteorological Aerodrome Report (METAR), and establishing a common georeferenced coordinates system like WGS-84, for all sources, it can generate a system that could calculate early alerts about hazardous weather conditions in the aircrafts proximality for air traffic control system. For this, a meteorological analysis system can generate information about convective clouds calculating area, heights, temperatures, risk level and position of the meteorological formation. Parallelly the convective cloud is surrounded by optimal elliptical forms centered on the convective formation, generating a meteorological object. On the other hand, there is a system responsible for monitoring the information of the surveillance sensors. This system fused the air traffic sensors available like primary and secondary radar signals and ADS-B sensors in a unique WGS-84 coordinates system. Finally, in a georeferenced raster-Type graphing system or in a Geographic Information System (GIS), the meteorological and surveillance information is correlated projecting the track routes generates by air traffic system and traces generated by meteorological objects in order to establish times and high-risk areas, early. With this information, the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) system users, could minimize risk areas and reorganize the air traffic flow. This methodology then, would contribute to the decision-making process of ATC, facilitating the air flow reorganization and minimizing meteorological risks. For the development of this project a cooperative experimental methodology by subsystems was used. It was based on an operational knowledge and normal operating procedures of the Colombian Air Force, integrated with radar tracking technologies that implement decision trees. These alerts allow the air traffic controller to assess the risk and in accordance with the evaluation, if necessary, reorganize the air traffic flow for a specific area before the aircraft enter areas of bad weather mitigating the risks. © 2019 IEEE.Ítem Modelo de segmentación y monitoreo SARLAFT en el Grupo BIOS(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Pineda Gómez, Juan Esteban; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioÍtem A Remote Monitoring System for Charging Stations with Photovoltaic Generation(Springer Verlag, 2019-01-01) Sánchez S.; Cárdenas-Gómez I.; Mejía-Gutiérrez R.; Osorio-Gómez G.This work aims to develop a prototype of a monitoring system for a Photovoltaic Charging Station (PVCS) installed in Universidad Eafit. The design is proposed according to the context of remote areas, which are off-grid or where utility grid’s quality is low, and considering the possibility of having standalone charging stations installed in such places. The proposed system integrates several hardware components and communication protocols by making use of Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud Platform technology. The presented solution is a low-cost infrastructure and enables real-time monitoring and data storing for future analysis. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
