Ítem Analytical Model for Electronic Transport in Semiconductor Thin Films(Universidad EAFIT, 2013-11-05) Torres-Luengo, M; Martínez, H M; Torres, J; López-Carreño, L D; Universidad Nacional de ColombiaÍtem Caracterización morfológica del depósito vetiforme epitermal en el NE del Batolito Antioqueño – Mina Los Balsos, Yolombó – Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Cataño Soto, Cristian Camilo; Marín Cerón, María Isabel; Marín Cerón, María IsabelIt is important to understand the morphology of a vein-type mineralization when seeking to estimate resources, as this knowledge supports subsequent decision-making in exploration and extraction processes, especially when structural factors play a significant role in mineral accumulation. In order to provide a tool that optimizes the exploration processes of the Los Balsos Mine project, a morphological model is being developed for the majority of structures intercepted by its tunneling, which serves as a basis for understanding the spatial behavior of veins, their hierarchization, spatial interaction, and their relationship with regional events. This information can be complemented with petrographic data in future projects. The study area is located in the northeastern part of the Antioquian batholith, in the youngest region of the body, where quartz vein deposits accompanied by sulfides are present and displaced by the interference zone of the Palestina Fault. These structures suffer from significant deficiencies in geometric and structural characterization, mainly due to the challenging accessibility of the area, which is mostly exploited by informal projects and lacks technical information in the public domain. That is why detailed mapping supported by samples and structural data was carried out, digitized into maps (1:500 and 1:50) that serve as the basis for prospective models. These models propose future exploration targets, which in turn facilitate economically and scientifically significant decision-making.Ítem Modeling of industrial through air dryers : effect of humidity ratio and air temperature on energy consumption(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Salazar Guerrero, Álvaro Fernando; Builes Toro, SantiagoThrough Air Drying (TAD) commonly used in tissue paper manufacture is an energy intensive process. A theoretical model was developed to predict the fans’ speed and the burner duty based on the type of product and operating parameters. The model showed good agreement to the industrial plant behavior and allowed insight of the drying system. This study, and the associated industrial implementation resulting from it, has led to savings of around of 250.000 USD associated with energy consumptionÍtem Modelo conceptual de confianza para el intercambio de conocimiento organizacional en grupos de trabajo de desarrollo de software(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Gómez López, José Manuel; Uribe Correa, BeatrizThis research suggests a conceptual model structure of trust that able to software development organizations, enhance trust environments inside development team to the knowledge sharing between developers stream naturally and without conditions. This model was structure by interviews semi-structures been with software developers that works inside software development organizations in Medellin city from Colombia. As a result, it was achieved identify the concepts of leadership, communication and socialization like are base elements of this model and in turn, like to enablers trust environments to organizational knowledge sharing inside software development teams.Ítem Modelo de gestión del conocimiento para el desarrollo de capacidades dinámicas en una empresa de tecnología de Información en Colombia : caso Sophos Solutions(Universidad Eafit, 2020) Villegas Hincapié, Angela Cristina; Tabares Quiroz, JulianaThis work seeks to make a proposal for a knowledge management model for an information technology company, which contributes to the development of dynamic capabilities as a platform for achieving business sustainability. The study provides an exploration of some of the existing knowledge management models in the literature and the possible organizational dynamic capabilities to develop in an information technology company. From this, a model with knowledge management activities is suggested such as: identification of critical knowledge of the company, definition of knowledge transfer strategies, generation of impact indicators, which can be implemented in an information technology company for the development of dynamic organizational capacities such as: capacity for integration, learning, organizational structure, institutional, in decision-making, which in turn change and generate different competitive advantages over time, allowing to be a sustainable company .Ítem Modelo para la creación de emprendimientos sociales en Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Gómez Sánchez, Pablo Andrés; Correa Quintero, Katherine; Villasmil Trujillo, Gustavo Adid; Orrego Correa, Clara InésThe born of enterprises located at the named fourth sector of the economy has increased In the last years, in this sector are located business generating social and environmental impact, at the time that through commercial activities, achieve economic revenue and sustainability. Colombia and, specifically Antioquia, is a high potential region for this field, due to the social troubles and their innovation ecosystem, but nevertheless, this kind of business are almost unknown, and because that born the need of design a model for the creation of social entrepreneurships in Antioquia, focused on the social, environmental an economic impact. This research was conducted under a qualitative focus and the type of study was descriptive, the analysis unit was made up of entrepreneurs and trainers of this type of company; the tools used for collecting data were questionnaires and interviews, with an intentional sample were applied to social entrepreneurs and representatives of the innovation system and academy.Ítem O-I innovation: Corporate business model for managing innovation(2018) Gómez Montoya, Daniela; Hérnandez M., María CristinaThis project report presents the complete process followed to propose finally a Corporate Innovation Model to Owens Illinois, O-I.
