The main objective of this academic work "Management framework for the sustainable closure of mines in Colombia" is to present management criteria that are easy to understand and apply to Colombian mining projects -- The idea is that this proposal can be used by organizations that have an interest in carry out mine closure in a responsible and sustainable manner -- In this way, the present work is a theoretical exercise that unifies years of experience of several countries, all large producers of mineral raw materials, worldwide, with respect to the best practices of these in terms of progressive closures of mining projects, together with the reflections of the authors in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development for their development in the Colombian mining context
