Ítem Buenas prácticas en Almacén Paris S.A. : una mirada desde la gestión del conocimiento(EAFIT, 2019) Ramírez Rojas, Lizeth Rocio; Díez Gaviria, Ana Cecilia; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz AmparoThe purpose of this article is to document the best practices of Almacén Paris S.A. from 2010 to 2019, in the commercial area, that contribute to the differentiation and generation of value, from the perspective of knowledge management. The employed methodology was an applied research exercise, with a qualitative approach. Particularly, an analysis of corporate documents was made, data was constructed from primary information sources. The result of semi-structured interviews with collaborators from the strategic level of the Organization and the internal benchmarking steps were used in the methodological process on the field work. Knowledge management in Almacén Paris, is partially formalized, the Organization has elements that allow it to communicate part of its culture and has been specializing and having a higher level and intensity of knowledge. Hence the importance of managing resources and defining a program designed to identify, develop, communicate and minimize the loss of knowledge in all its areas. This article was limited to document four (4) good practices in the commercial area of the Alamacén Paris, the commitment of the collaborators and the interest of the company in remaining in time and responding to the needs of its stakeholders. In future investigations other areas of the organization can be studied. A key highlight of the findings is that each of the documented good practices for the commercial area can be implemented or structured in other areas of the Organization so that new knowledge is generated as a result of this exchange and appropriation of ideas that come from other processes. The proposed methodology is simple, easy to apply and replicate, which allows its use in knowledge management in all areas of the Organization. It can also support studies and applications that imply greater depth.
