The objective of the investigation is to evaluate the behavior of the incomes of the Generator adding a complementary of wind power and develop a financial comparison of both scenarios using the Free Cash Flow calculating the Net Present Value and the Modified IRR for each of these. The results showed that the loss was mitigated with the generation of the wind park of 400 MW, reducing the purchasing of energy in the spot market as a result of the deficit of the hydro resource to fulfill the long-term contracts.
