Ítem Efectividad de los mapas de riesgos de corrupción como instrumento para combatirla: Estudio aplicado en las 32 entidades territoriales departamentales de Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Bedoya Caballero, Carlos Mario; Salazar Arango, Claudia; Fernández Andrade, Rubén HernandoThis article presents the results of a research process about the effectiveness of risk maps of corruption in public procurement in Colombia -- Under a quantitative approach methodology, using poll surveys performed on the chiefs of internal control offices in the whole 32 departments of the country (covering 5 thematic subjects, including: methods for risk management, procedures to implement them, treatment actions, evaluation and effectiveness of control procedures and risk management effects) -- The results were compared with the available information on risk maps using the different web resources accessible in the different departments, the subsequent tracking and using existing statistics obtainable from the government transparency and anticorruption observatory office -- The resulting analysis allowed us to conclude that despite the fact that the entities responsible for implementing the maps even follow the protocols in relation to the elaboration and publishment of risk maps, there is still a lack of general awareness, learning and empowerment -- In this way, this contribution brings several recommendations for the improvement of the anticorruption strategy in Colombia
