    Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de un centro de equinoterapia en el área metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá

    The dynamism of daily life worldwide has developed a greater interest in leading a healthy lifestyle, focused on the stability of mental health supported by different alternative techniques. This has encouraged the opening of different types of health centers focused on alternative medicine or personal recreation centers such as riding academies and equine therapy centers. This generates a business opportunity in this market niche, which will be the object of study of this degree work. This work seeks to analyze the feasibility of creating an equine therapy center focused on the treatment of symptoms and effects of psychological and mental illnesses in professional adults between 25 and 64 years of age in the city of Medellin. For this, the UNIDO methodology of project formulation will be used, where a study of macro and micro environment will be carried out first, followed by a market study in which the supply and demand of these services will be identified, then the technical factors for the creation and operation of the project will be studied; likewise the organizational, legal and environmental studies of the project will be carried out and finally the financial and risk evaluation of the project will be developed. As a final deliverable of the degree work, a report will be generated that includes the components mentioned above and a series of conclusions and recommendations for investment in projects of this nature.

    Hacia un mecanismo de integración social para una salud diferenciada en el municipio de Medio Baudó

    La investigación parte de conocer e identificar la resistencia de los pueblos afrocolombianos e indígenas para asistir a los centros de salud en el Medio Baudó (Chocó, Colombia), consistente en acudir primero a la medicina tradicional, esto es jaibanás yerbateros, curanderos, y comprender las prácticas relacionadas con la salud/ enfermedad entre los emberas y afrocolombianos, ubicados en el resguardo indígena la “Sirena” en el municipio de Medio Baudó, Choco- Colombia -- Lo anterior, con el objetivo de proponer lineamientos que permitan construir un mecanismo de integración de actores: jaibanás, yerbateros, curanderos, médicos occidentales y demás instituciones, que permitan superar a futuro la “resistencia” existente frente a la medicina occidental -- La metodología de investigación es la cualitativa enfocándose en entrevistas, observación y revisión documental -- El hecho de contemplar el aspecto socio cultural en la investigación en salud, permite conocer la dinámica de la enfermedad en la población y concertar con los actores la construcción de un mecanismo de integración social, acorde a las diferentes racionalidades de saberes en el Municipio de Medio Baudó, en consecuencia, se utilizaría con mucha más eficacia los recursos disponibles, y se obtendría mayor satisfacción en el acceso a los servicios públicos de salud
