Ítem Situación jurídica del concubinato en Colombia a partir de la Ley 54 de 1990, por la cual se definen las uniones maritales de hecho y el régimen patrimonial entre compañeros permanentes(Universidad EAFIT, 2017) Palacio Jiménez, Diana Carolina; Pérez López, María Ximena; Arango Benjumea,Carlos JulioIn the work previously presented, we analyze the existence of concubinage in Colombia, by studying Law 54 of 1990, related laws, doctrines and jurisprudence -- The intent is to identify the legal nature of concubinage as a kind of family in the Colombian Legal System -- Then we will demonstrate how concubinage today does not benefit from legal protection -- Finally, based on the completed research, we seek to sketch out several suggestions of topics in need of regulation in different areas of the law -- Our intention is that in the face of eventual legislative initiatives who seek to regulate the situation with concubinage that these ideas will be taken into account
