    This article proposes methodological contributions to guitar teaching in non-formal environments. Thus, unconventional graphics are proposed to carry out the initial teaching of music reading and the exploration of national cues of the Andean region to develop the repertoire in the primary stages. The result of this effort is a compendium of seven level-structured pieces that promote music reading, technical development, and recognition of the instrument’s register. To conclude, it is needed to foster new and adaptable methodologies for music teaching, through purification of the academic content, and guiding this first approach to practice development in the instrument.
