Ítem Ansiedad del personal de un jardín infantil en el contexto de la emergencia sanitaria(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Botero-Restrepo, Sara; Villamizar Reyes, Milena MargaritaThe sanitary emergency generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, created a context in which governments, especially the Colombian one, implemented a series of strategies in order to mitigate the virus spread. Amongst those strategies, the educational institutions were shut down and citizens were confined in their homes. At the same time, they were informed with information about the virus, how it spread, etc... That situation generated anxiety in the general population and specifically in teachers and administrative colleagues in kindergartens. This exploratory study, which is non experimental and transversal-quantitative, measured the anxiety levels of colleagues of a Kindergarten in Medellín, Colombia in July 2020, when they were still confined, working from home. The study found that 52% of the colleagues of that Kindergarten had minimal anxiety, 29% a moderate level and 18% mild anxiety.Ítem Satisfacción de familias respecto a la oferta de servicio de jardines infantiles privados en el sector el Poblado, de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Mojocoa Valencia, Carolina; Agudelo Calle, Jhonny AlejandroThe search for kindergartens by parents is a complex process. Selecting the first educational institution for children requires time, information and a series of reflections among parents. This study seeks to know the satisfaction of families with respect to the service provided by kindergartens in the El Poblado sector of Medellín. Expectations, service experiences and services best valued by parents are part of this universe of satisfaction. The present investigation is qualitative and exploratory. The central instrument for data generation was the interview, accompanied by the application of the Servqual model. 20 families participated in the study, achieving the theoretical saturation point. Among the most representative findings are, as a central variable, care, which frames the dimensions of expectation and service experience. In addition, the direct correlation of each of the categories found in each of the stages that families experience and that determine the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of the service.
