    This article explains how the theories of gender and narrative identity, as criteria of literary hermeneutics, can be seen in a text from the Kogui's storytelling tradition -- This storytelling tradition is assumed as literature considering its semantic power and unique characteristics -- The analysis is addressed from three conceptual points: first to acknowledge the transformation from oral to written, second its classification in literary taxonomy according to the narratologies concepts of Genette and review its literary gender according to the hybridization of genders of Derrida, and finally the use of narrative identity that Ricouer proposes
