In the Colombian automotive sector, Automotive Diagnostic Centers (CDAs) play a crucial role in road safety by ensuring that vehicles meet the technical requirements of national regulations. However, traditional corrective and preventive maintenance methods generate downtime and additional costs that affect the continuous operation of inspection equipment. This research develops a machine learning-based solution to analyze the results of adhesion tests obtained using the suspension tester of the light vehicle line at the Certi Express Pereira S.A.S. Automotive Diagnostic Center. 2,360 test records were collected and, after a cleaning, normalization, and variable analysis process, a predictive model was built capable of detecting patterns associated with potential failures in both the measuring equipment and the inspected vehicles. The results show that the application of machine learning models in automotive diagnostic environments significantly improves the early detection of anomalies, allows for optimized maintenance planning, and contributes to reducing operating costs and downtime.Ítem Diagnosticador de trastornos en el desarrollo de niños(Universidad EAFIT, 2007) Díaz Duque, Elizabeth; Treffzt Gómez, Helmuth; TrePublicación Diseño de mecanismos cuatro barras asistido por métodos de aprendizaje reforzado(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Muñoz Betancur, Juan Manuel; Gallego Sánchez, Juan Andrés; Sánchez Gallego, Juan AndrésÍtem An economical solution to the quality of service problems of electricity supply(Universidad EAFIT, 2006-12-01) Barrera Núñez, Víctor; Mora Flórez, Juan José; Carrillo, Gilberto; Ordóñez Plata, Gabriel; Asesor Programa Nacional de Investigaciones en Energía y Minería, Colciencias, Asistente de Investigación GISEL.; Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira; Universidad Industrial de Santander; Universidad Industrial de SantanderPublicación Emerging Technologies and Knowledge Management in the Financial System : Advances, Tensions, and Future Agenda(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Giraldo Palacio, Diana María; Diez Gaviria, Ana CeciliaPublicación Entre el clic y la reflexión : intervención comportamental para un consumo responsable de la inteligencia artificial generativa en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Gómez Martínez, Alexandra; Vélez Atehortúa, Mariana; García Zapata, Sara Lucía; Echeverri Álvarez, JonathanThe rise of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) has created a new form of digital consumption with ethical and environmental implications. This study aimed to promote responsible use of GenAI among university students through a behavioral intervention based on the COM-B model and boosting methodology. The study followed a quantitative approach with an experimental design involving two independent groups, seeking to strengthen participants’ psychological ability and reflective motivation. Although the statistical results did not confirm a significant behavioral change, the descriptive analysis revealed a slight reduction in the number of queries, improved prompt structuring, and increased awareness of the environmental impact associated with using these tools.Ítem Estimation of mechanical properties of rock using artificial intelligence(Universidad EAFIT, 2011-12-01) Galvis, Laura Viviana; Augusto Ochoa, César; Arguello Fuentes, Henry; Carvajal Jiménez, Jenny Mabel; Calderón Carrillo, Zuly Himelda; Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS)Publicación Estrategia digital basada en inteligencia artificial : optimización del tofu para la calificación de prospectos y mejora de la experiencia del cliente en el sector inmobiliario colombiano(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Monsalve Molina, Luis Daniel; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz Amparo; Serrano Rivero, Sergio AndrésThis study proposes a digital strategy powered by artificial intelligence to strengthen customer acquisition at the top of the funnel in the Colombian real estate market. The central idea is to improve the quality of prospects and enrich their experience from the first contact, combining a specialized CRM with automated WhatsApp conversation flows. With this proposal, we seek to ease the burden on sales teams, who often spend time on low-value leads, which increases Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and erodes closing rates. By implementing AI chatbots and leveraging "digital footprint" análisis (online behavioral data about each visitor) we automate the detection of those who truly show purchase intent. We thus optimize key metrics such as CAC, conversion rate, Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Net Promoter Score (NPS), and Customer Experience Score (CXS).Publicación Hacia un modelo predictivo que apoye el logro de KPI comerciales más asertivos : caso Empresa Comercializadora de MaderaHacia un modelo predictivo que apoye el logro de KPI comerciales más asertivos : caso Empresa Comercializadora de Madera(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Tavera Rodríguez, Jhon Walter; Tabares Betancur, Marta SilviaPublicación Informe de consultoría bajo la metodología estramipyme prestada a “Innovaition”(Universidad EAFIT, 2026-01-24) Cano Ospina, Juan Esteban; Rivas Montoya, Luz MaríaThis paper presents the implementation of the Estramipyme methodology (Rivas Montoya, 2023) as a consultancy for the “Innovaition” venture, a micro-enterprise in the education industry dedicated to training individuals and companies in applied artificial intelligence, located in the city of Medellín. When applying Estramipyme, an external analysis is carried out, based on global and industry macro-environment trends, through research and semi-structured interviews with the most representative actors in the industry. In addition, an internal analysis is carried out to identify the company's main distinctive competencies. Both analyses made it possible to arrive at a strategic diagnosis, prioritize a particular strategic challenge, and co-create a competitive strategy supported by a roadmap to be followed as a recommendation for its founders, with the aim of contributing to the long-term sustainability of the business.Publicación Inteligencia Artificial en la formación jurídica en Colombia : estudio de caso en la Universidad EAFIT(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Rojas Alba, Jaksenn Nicoll; Múnera Arango, Juan Sebastián; Sánchez Vásquez, CarolinaThe document examines the impact of AI on legal education, focusing on EAFIT's School of Law. Through a mixed-methods approach, including documentary analysis and faculty surveys, it reveals that AI enhances access to legal information but is used sporadically and poses risks such as superficial learning and diminished critical thinking. The lack of specific regulations in Colombia creates uncertainty, despite institutional initiatives. Recommendations include training faculty and students, establishing ethical policies, and ensuring equity to leverage AI without compromising educational quality.Publicación Investigación para las organizaciones del futuro: Adopción de tecnologías de la 4RI en organizaciones de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Arcila Arango, Mónica; Bernal, Camila; Cantillo, Dana; Daguer, María Claudia; Duarte, David; Garcés-Uribe, Olga Lucía; Guevara, Luis Fernando; López, Juliana; Lozada, Sarah Sofía; Mejía, Andrea; Martínez, Andrea; Nagles, Sara; Rojas, Susana; Valero, Melany; Universidad EAFITLa cartilla del Semillero SIAO presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre la Cuarta Revolución Industrial y su impacto en Medellín. This monograph project examines the legal challenges and gaps encountered when protecting creations produced by AI systems, focusing on the Colombian legal framework while drawing comparisons with international developments. The core issue identified is that current law requires a human author to recognize copyright, leaving works autonomously created by machines in a grey zone. The research aims to analyze in depth how traditional notions of authorship and originality are tested by AI-generated content, reviewing recent cases and doctrinal viewpoints, and exploring possible legal solutions. The general objective is to provide legal clarity and recommendations to balance the protection of human creators with the promotion of innovation, thereby filling legislative gaps in intellectual property law in the face of artificial intelligence.Publicación La responsabilidad civil extracontractual frente al uso de DeepFakes : posibilidad de una respuesta interpretativa desde el derecho colombiano vigente(Universidad EAFIT, 2025-09-25) Ugarte Tapasco, Estefanía; Jung, Haein; Mejía Rico, EstebanDeepFake is an emerging technology that has great potential to cause harm to rights such as image, honor, or privacy, harms that could even materialize in economic damage. In Colombia there is no specific regulation addressing this phenomenon, which raises the following question: Under what liability regime could non-contractual civil liability be established for damages caused by the use of Deepfakes? This thesis examines the problem by considering the approaches adopted internationally and by identifying the mechanisms available under Colombia law for this purpose.
