    Research on mobility in Bocas del Atrato has been scarcely explored, despite being a dynamic that is essential for the social, economic, and environmental development of the area. As an amphibious rural territory, it is important to understand how modes of movement shape the community’s identity, sociocultural and economic composition, as well as the relationship between nature and human behavior. In response to this need, resilient mobility solutions were proposed, aimed at strengthening community appropriation processes and promoting biodiversity conservation in Bocas del Atrato. These solutions were developed from a comprehensive understanding of mobility dynamics, natural systems, and the socioecological conflicts present in the territory. The process incorporated a collaborative scenarios approach, ensuring that the community’s experience, local knowledge, and organizational capacity remained at the core of this study, in articulation with technical expertise. The proposed methodology was based on Participatory Action Research, using data collection techniques such as literature review, participatory observation walks, workshops, focus groups, as well as interviews with experts, stakeholders, and community leaders. Three key outcomes were achieved: (1) Characterization of community mobility dynamics and their relationship with physical, biological, and ecosystem determinants through four categories of analysis, (2) Identification of a network of local actors, (3) Design of a Community Guide for Resilient Mobility Solutions in Amphibious Rural Territories (SmR Guide).
