Methods: A qualitative approach study that is conducted through a case study based on a qualitative survey and semi-structured interviews. Results: A single person does not have all the competencies to perform autonomously in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and therefore in digital transformation processes, it requires teams with multiple competencies, knowledge and strengths that can complement each other. Individually, competencies such as openness to change, proactivity, specific knowledge, communication, analytical skills, problem solving, service orientation and handling of IT tools allow a correct performance of the partners; on the other hand, skills such as teamwork, use of IT tools, information management and communication need to be further developed to allow employees achieve optimum performance; in addition, the competencies are changing their meaning and becoming more challenging in this modern context. Conclusions: It is evident that the existing and necessary competencies, the favorable conditions and the strategies for the partners and the organization to perform in the best way in this context, are oriented to give more value and to promote the human qualities in favor of this change. The organization is committed to this process and recognises it as strategic and necessary to achieve sustainability over time.Ítem Diseño y construcción de vehículos autónomos para Warehousing Lab. de la Universidad EAFIT(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Giraldo Aristizábal, Edwin Fernando; Tamayo Vélez, Martín Alonsoone of the trends in industries 4.0 is autonomous vehicles that increase efficiency, speed, reliability, and accuracy of processes. At a time when new technologies have been developed in recent years, companies face the challenge of transforming themselves digitally. In Colombia this process still has a high development potential. In fact, in 2019 only 11.7% of organizations had a digital strategy (Colombia está quedada en transformación digital, 2019). This work sought to identify key aspects of digital transformation and identify Colombian companies that are carrying out digital transformation processes. Through the writing of a case study, it is exposed the digital transformation strategy started in 2018 by Renault Sofasa, one of the car assemblers with the longest experience in Colombia.Ítem Guía para el alineamiento entre la estrategia del negocio con las TIC para la mejora de la competitividad de los clusters productivos colombianos(Universidad EAFIT, 2006) Ospina Montoya, Juan Camilo; García Arcila, Gustavo Adolpho; Rincón Bermúdez, Rafael DavidÍtem Impacto de la transformación digital en la empresa FIS Soluciones(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Loaiza Cuartas, Juan Felipe; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz AmparoÍtem Innovación y mercadeo digital como herramientas para el aumento del ingreso en una muestra de 44 empresas de sostenibilidad(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Medina Vélez, Nicolás; Fonseca Rodríguez, Andrés Felipe; Cárdenas Echeverri, FernandoThis paper investigated the impact of innovation and digital tools on the size measured in income of SMEs, this as a solution for the development and growth of the business model due to changes in market dynamics, since 70% of small and medium enterprises fail in the first 5 years. To estimate the impact, data was collected through a survey of SMEs, and using the OLS econometric model illustratively to compare its results with the ordered logit and probit models. The results show that SMEs that have been operating in the market for a longer time have higher revenues, the higher the digitalization the lower the sales and finally there is not enough evidence to conclude that having any innovative process is related to an increase in sales. These results can be explained by the fact that the more they experiment with the use of digital tools, the more they may become unfocused on their business model and that innovation in this type of companies is not the source of growth.Ítem IoT como tendencia : retos y beneficios generados por la implementación de este tipo de soluciones en empresas colombianas del sector de industria y comercio(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Franco Agudelo, Paulo Alejandro; Osorio Lema, Edwin Alexis; Giraldo Hernández, Gina MaríaThe Internet of Things (IoT) has been growing rapidly in the past few years, generating a great amount of applications in different economic sectors, which can be implemented in any Company and any place in the world. Its advantages can’t be denied, nevertheless there are still a few topics and concerns about security and a possible unemployment issue due to the fact that these things can replace human labor for machines or things that can make the same work even more effective. Through an exploratory and descriptive analysis this paper tends to give a context about the tendencies and the evolution of IoT solutions in the past few years. Likewise, identifies the different trends in these kinds of solutions, especially in Colombia, to analyze the problems and advantages companies will have to deal with. Throughout this essay will be introduced situations, cases and explanatory examples, that will let us identify the benefits and dares found during implementing this type of solution.Ítem Marco de trabajo para la generación de innovación entre la organización y sus grupos de interés(Universidad Eafit, 2020) Giraldo Giraldo, Deisy Yolima; Giraldo Yepes, Sara Milena; Osorio Montoya, Bárbara PatriciaThe superior purpose of an organization must be framed in the sustainability and competitiveness of the business, seeking to stay over time, responding to the needs of the market; To achieve this, it is necessary for the organization to generate synergies and establish cooperative relationships with its stakeholders that lead to the generation of innovation. It is observed that the relationship between the different actors is a fragile aspect in the innovation ecosystem in Colombia (ANDI, 2018); For this reason, the object of this research is to propose a framework for generating innovation between the organization and its stakeholders. The research is addressed through an exploration of literature to identify the approaches, perspectives and trends around innovation between the organization and its stakeholders; and is complemented by an exploratory study in Colombian organizations. The result of the research gave way to the definition of the framework for the generation of innovation among the organization with its stakeholders, this framework is made up of elements that give dynamism and mobility, where general elements emerge: environment, organization , relationships and governance, process, knowledge and human talent, made up of some particular elements, among them some that should be given and others that could be considered according to the needs of the organization. In addition to the generation of innovation, absorption and dissemination dimensions emerge that complement it and may be part of subsequent studies.Ítem Modelo de negocio para generar una propuesta de valor innovadora para SAFITE SAS(2019) Peláez Vélez, Carlos Alberto; Reyes González, Dario; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz Amparo; Vásquez Betancur, AndrésÍtem Oportunidades y retos de la incorporación de los recursos energéticos distribuidos en Colombia hacia la transición de un mercado de energía más eficiente y resiliente(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) López González, Diana María; García Rendón, Jhon JairoÍtem Procesos de transformación digital para la gestión operativa de una pyme prestadora de servicios de salud(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Pineda Posada, Daniela; Monroy Osorio, Juan Carlos; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz AmparoBased on the study of the digital transformation ecosystem, the purpose of this research is to define the digital transformation processes for a health services pyme, the benefits, objectives, importance, gaps, risks and challenges focused on the Colombian business context that in the majority is made up of pymes. The above contrasted with the information collected from the health services pyme under study, allowing to make a diagnosis, recommendations and a critical path that allows the development of a digital transformation framework in the short, medium, and long term. The research approach is qualitative, and it is developed through in-depth individual interviews and secondary information analysis for the identification and definition of the search items.Ítem Propuesta de modelo de transformación digital para la Fundación Cultural Entrelíneas(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Gómez González, Daniel Fernando; Hincapié López, Alejandro; Montoya Mendoza, Juan CarlosÍtem Propuesta de un modelo de predicción de canibalizaciones de las referencias de línea en presencia de ofertas para una empresa manufacturera de alimentos de la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Flórez Jaramillo, Daniela; Castro Zuluaga, Carlos AlbertoThe objective of this research is to propose a model for predicting cannibalizations that will allow us to assertively estimate the sales of line references when an offer is present. The methodology to address this research has a quantitative approach and the type of study is descriptive. For the realization of the model, the variables to be used were defined and the prediction model was incorporated using supervised learning techniques in Machine Learning given the nature of the cross-sectional data. After designing the model, the variables with the greatest relationship and contribution to the behaviour of cannibalisation were highlighted. Good results were obtained in terms of the coefficient of determination and accuracy, which is positive for the company since operations will be given a better estimate of the behaviour of the line references when an offer is active, which will allow them to prepare the supply chain to deal with the consumption peaks and valleys of the different references.Ítem Tecnomalestar laboral derivado de la cuarta revolución industrial : estudio de caso en un grupo de abogados civiles de Medellín (Colombia)(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Gañán Moreno, Ánderson; López Gómez, Andrés Felipe; Orejuela Gómez, Jonny JavierÍtem Transformación digital en productos ROCHE S.A.(2019) Herrera Céspedes, Oscar Hernando; Parra Giraldo, Diana Carolina; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz Amparo
