The growing population has been demanding, in different scenarios, greater capacity of the central government to solve public problems. In this sense, this research aims to examine whether or not the current institutional design through which the district administration governs the Corregimientos facilitates the implementation of programs and projects to solve public problems, specifically in the Corregimiento of San Antonio de Prado.
