    Currently, some Colombians make the wrong decisions when it comes to moving the pension system, and this can represent not only a loss of money but also the right to a pension. These decisions in most cases are based on false information, which is why there are concerned in the pension fund managers (AFPs). Parallel to this situation, the millennial generation segment (people born between 1983 and 1994) is not interested in saving for their pension and have an absolute ignorance on issues related to pension funds. Therefore, it is important to find a strategy that motivates millennials to know this sector. In the present paper the millennial generation is explored, with the purpose to develop a learning tool that unites a tax, financial and pension planning, in the framework of innovation and the new financial industry fintech (financial technology), that enables users to make sound decisions in order to have an economic well-being. The research was addressed through a field work that included individual interviews, focus groups and consultations with experts from the pension sector and the fintech industry.
