    The purpose of this research paper is to study the legal and economic feasibility of the disaffiliation of some professional football clubs from DIMAYOR to create an independent league. In order to achieve this objective, the functioning of the National Sports System and the International Football System will be explained. Second, the rules that regulate non-profit entities will be analyzed, understanding that DIMAYOR is one of them. Subsequently, the economic incentives that clubs could have to separate from DIMAYOR will be studied. Finally, the economic and legal viability of such disaffiliation in order to create a new competition will be determined
