    This pre-feasibility study meets the need to evaluate the viability of a startup company of Controlled Environment Agriculture, specifically in vertical distribution, a business model not explored yet in Colombia, in this work analysis is carried out by studies where studies of the environment and sector, market, technical, administrative and organizational, legal and financial were taken into account, these are the most critical points for the operation in the medium and long term of the business. Similarly, this study will allow projecting the amount of the investment needed to reach the break-even point. Because one of the main aspects is to understand if the business is cost-effective in the Colombian market, having as a reference the high operating costs, mainly in the energy use and the initial investment in technology.
