    In the last two decades, strategic innovation management has become an interdisciplinary area of study that merges fields of knowledge such as organizational studies, knowledge management, creativity, social responsibility and others, with a strong influence from the cultural and organizational context of each region, country or city. Thus, it forms a changing and complex concept to be appropriated by managers in theory and practice. The objective of this work is to build a state of the art about the approaches used in strategic innovation management within the organizational context between 2010 and 2024. The research is approached through the selection and analysis of 54 documents indexed in recognized academic databases, which account for a relevant portion of knowledge around strategic innovation management in the last 14 years. This analysis leads to the identification of trends in its content, approaches adopted by the authors from a theoretical perspective, determining how they understand the concept and from a practical perspective, determining how they put the concept into practice; as well as relevant aspects for the practical application of strategic innovation management in the organizational context, an analysis of the regional particularities in the adoption and application of the concept; and finally, a cross- analysis between the results found and opportunities for future research.
