This thesis examines the gaps and opportunities faced by organizations in Colombia to effectively implement DEI policies, developing a theoretical framework that addresses key elements such as diversity management, social justice, and corporate social responsibility. Through a study focused on five Colombian companies, it identifies adoption challenges, enabling factors, and population groups that are included in these initiatives. These dimensions are integrated into their communication and brand projection. Furthermore, there is a global business trend towards creating specific groups for each community, for example, for the LGBTIQA+ community, in order to promote a culture of inclusion and tolerance as the foundation of organizational culture. In some companies and multinationals, these initiatives have shown successful results; however, in Colombia and Latin America, such groups are often scarce or nonexistent, and attention to this need is often limited to superficial actions. This research aims to identify the key aspects that a company must consider when implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies within its organizational culture, and how these strategies relate to the vision and business objectives, as well as brand projection and its impact on the community.
