    The elaboration of a maintenance management plan of the University Institute of La Paz, translates into the importance of having equipment in adequate operating conditions, essential to maintain their reliability and availability, and likewise, increase the productivity and durability of the machine and minimize any faults that may arise. Furthermore, the proper functioning of the teams will allow UNIPAZ's missionary activities, teaching, research and social outreach to be carried out normally. All of the above, motivates the use of a computer tool to automate the registration of maintenance and asset management information that facilitates and guarantees tasks in order to significantly reduce duplication of information, improve the quality of processes , facilitate access to information in an agile, timely and reliable way, and increase productivity. The development of the project includes the definition of key concepts, description of the CMD indicators, selection of the standard methodology to be used, and the preparation of the maintenance management plan that includes the use of sheets in Excel to record information on the equipment.
