    One of the main objectives of the mergers is to achieve the operational and financial synergies between the companies involved, in such a way that they allow the maximization of shareholder value, improve the management of the acquired company, increase market share and increase profitability -- In other words, it is essential to determine if the value of the companies together is greater than the sum of the value of each of them working separately, otherwise there should be no interest in carrying out a merger -- This work seeks to determine if the process of merging three companies in the private security sector was the most successful decision for the generation of value -- To this end, a general analysis of the mergers and acquisitions market and a brief description of the state of the sector were made -- A model was proposed to carry out the assessment process of the three organizations to then make a comparison with the merged company, and in this way estimate the synergy generated by the merger process -- The results show pleasantly that the value of the merger is greater than the sum of the individual companies, then can say was creation of synergy
