    This research analyzes the financial viability of a Non-Profit Organizations (NPO’s) of the Special District of Buenaventura, using the criteria for the evaluation of projects that best meet the performance of solidarity companies, taking into account that NPO’s are not intended to generate wealth for investors, but not for this they obtain negative results. On the contrary, NPO’s must tend for the adequate financial administration of economic resources, so that their social programs have a greater impact in the long term. With the result of this degree work it is sought to determine if the business model of the Marea Viva del Pacífico Association is financially viable, given the legal and administrative nature of this type of entities.
