Ítem Autoconcepto y uso de Instagram en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Castro Barros, Maria Adelaida; Charry Graciano, Santiago; Echeverri Álvarez, JonathanThis study explores the perception of university students about the possible relationship of self-concept and the use of Instagram, therefore it was sought to identify the self-concept in some EAFIT students belonging to the School of Humanities, was also investigated the relationship that can be presented between Instagram and lifestyle in students and the influence that using Instagram has on the self-concept of college students. It is presented as a qualitative study, for which an individual semi-structured interview was carried out with eight students of the institution. The data analysis was carried out using the phenomenological method, taking into account the three specific objectives. In the research it was possible to verify how, from the experience of some students, there appear to be various stereotypes and prejudices within the EAFIT University that could influence the appearance of discrimination phenomena.
