Ítem Desarrollo de un bipedestador para mantener la salud de los miembros inferiores en personas con lesión medular incompleta(Universidad EAFIT, 2011) Arango Fernández, Luisa Fernanda; Duarte Villa, María Claudia; Correa Vélez, SantiagoThis degree project shows the investigation, development, design and fabrication of a stander, for people with incomplete spinal cord injury affected from cervical vertebra six (6), ie that people present reduced movement in arms, little trunk control and paralysis in low members, for the purpose of providing them orthopedic device wich allow them to realize physical therapy in low members as well as high members, and so keep the movement arches, avoid contractures, muscles spastic, shortening of tendons, and other complications that occur in the lack of exercise -- Through direct observation and interviews with people diagnosed disability status with incomplete spinal cord injury, diverse needs were found, which allow develop the PDS (Product Design Specification) to enter to design and manufacture the stander by the established design methodology -- Once designed, tests were realized with this people to evaluate the performance, the design, the ergonomic, the accessibility and others stander features, which aspects for improvement were found and the redesign were realized as well
