Ítem Estudio de prefactibilidad para la incorporación de dispositivos de tecnología de electrónica de potencia para la variación del flujo de potencia en las Redes de Distribución Local (SDL) de Celsia(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Preciado Mosos, Angie Tatiana; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioThis pre-feasibility study aims to assess the implementation of power electronic devices in the local distribution networks (SDL) of Celsia, a prominent utility operator in Colombia. The regulation by the Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission (CREG), through Resolution CREG 015 of 2018, establishes stringent quality standards using indices such as SAIFI and SAIDI to measure the performance of operators. Significant changes in the electrical sector have introduced complexities in the management of the electrical system, prompting the need to explore power electronic devices to preserve annual improvements of 8%. Celsia, in its crucial role as a network operator, seeks to ensure the quality and continuity of the electrical supply. The implementation of power electronics in SDL is proposed as an effective solution to plan and control energy flow, addressing current challenges such as the integration of renewable sources and voltage regulation. This strategy not only ensures compliance with CREG's quality standards but also provides an opportunity to reduce medium-term investments and decrease operational costs. In this scenario, a pre-feasibility analysis is proposed based on the UNIDO methodology, renowned for evaluating economic benefits and being applicable to the industrial and private sector. The selection of this methodology is based on its suitability to address crucial aspects of the study. The analysis will encompass sectoral, market, technical, legal, and financial studies, along with a risk assessment, providing a comprehensive view of the project's viability.
