    This case study examines the restructuring of the "Alfonso Herrera Sánchez" School of Music in Guarne, focusing on human development through music. Through a strategic management approach, the institution has improved its identity and pedagogical quality, adapting to local demands. Participants of all ages have experienced improvements in their psychological well-being and personal development. The theoretical framework is based on the intersection of art, education, and culture, highlighting music as a means of integral development. Theories by Amartya Sen and Martha Nussbaum emphasize freedom and central capabilities for a fulfilling life, while Carol Ryff's theory of psychological well-being underscores dimensions such as self-acceptance and autonomy. The study aims to document how institutional restructuring has created spaces that foster well-being and personal development, providing a replicable model for other local and international initiatives.
