    In the different legislations of the world, the protection of the right to habeas data is regulated, which has within its scope the right to be forgotten or the right to be forgotten. In this regard, this right allows negative data to be present in a database only for a limited and specified period of time, in order to safeguard the right to privacy, good name and dignity of the data subject, in accordance with this, the impact of technological advances in the application of the right to be forgotten will be analyzed. Based on the foregoing, this document will focus on the study of Colombian jurisprudence, making comparisons with international regulations. Finally, it will be evident how the right to be forgotten can conflict with other fundamental rights, and in these cases the principles that conflict with each other must be weighed.
