    This research work addresses Administrative Labor Law. It stresses the importance of defining this field and its scope of application. Work history and administrative career are analyzed, as well as employment modalities and their differences. The work also addresses the analysis of labor disputes of municipal employees in the Aburrá Valley, related to wage differences and benefits. It discusses how these situations might affect fiscal sustainability and highlights the differences in overtime calculations between employees and employers. The lack of uniformity in jurisprudence and its impact on legal and financial uncertainty is raised. Finally, this work aims to provide elements that offer clarity to plaintiffs, defendants, and judicial operators to try to settle the gray area that this issue represents and harmonize administrative and jurisdictional actions to reverse the legal uncertainty and judicial risk that we currently witness.
