Ítem Desarrollo de un transductor de torque de bajo costo, utilizando galgas extensiométricas y protocolos de comunicación del internet de las cosas(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Correa Hernández, Abraham Andrés; Botero Herrera, Francisco JavierThe objective of this project was to develop a low-cost torque transducer that had the ability to send data in real time to multiple devices by applying Internet of Things communication protocols. To begging with the development, it was first necessary to collect bibliographic information to be aware of similar developments, the second step to follow was to define the operating parameters under which the prototype would be designed. Once the design parameters were defined, the quantitative comparison of the different low-cost microcontrollers was carried out to determine which is the most appropriate, with this step concluded, the conceptual design was carried out using the CAD tool of the different components of the transducer. With the preliminary designs completed, we proceeded to carry out the solution of the mathematical models that describe the behavior of the torque and at the same time the finite element simulation of the transducer was performed. The results obtained from the mathematical models and the simulation results were compared to determine if the simulation describes the effects suffered by the material. Once the stress analysis of the transducer was completed, the process of generating the manufacturing drawings began, and at the same time the process of developing the communication interfaces began using the Internet of Things communication protocol. It was concluded that the microcontroller that is most appropriated to the needs is the RASPBERRY PI ZERO W, because it does not require an externals module for establishing remote connections. Mathematical models and finite element simulations showed that the 6061 T6 aluminum alloy is capable of withstanding the proposed working conditions and it was possible to establish data communication between the RASPBERRY and a computer using an interface in LABVIEW using the TCP / IP communication protocol.Ítem Diseño y construcción de vehículos autónomos para Warehousing Lab. de la Universidad EAFIT(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Giraldo Aristizábal, Edwin Fernando; Tamayo Vélez, Martín Alonsoone of the trends in industries 4.0 is autonomous vehicles that increase efficiency, speed, reliability, and accuracy of processes. The EAFIT university has a Warehousing laboratory. In it explains different picking up systems that commercially exist, showing up the advantages and disadvantages of them, as well as alternative investigations improving them. Autonomous vehicles are one of the artifacts that many companies have implemented, to reduce costs, optimize resources and increase productivity in industrial and logistics processes; in this way, they have improved their indicators, since these vehicles bring with them a big amount of benefits. This work shows all carried stages for construction and design of autonomous vehicles for EAFIT's Warehousing Lab and mechanical, electrical and electronic plans, electronic cards, Labview software documentation, and Arduino. This report is intended to serve as a team manual. This manual could be reproduced, improved or made corrective and/or preventive maintenance.Ítem Identificación de las propiedades dinámicas del edificio de ingenierías de la Universidad Eafit mediante pruebas de vibración ambiental(Universidad EAFIT, 2014) Merino Peña, Yvonne; Botero Palacio, Juan CarlosSe evalúan las propiedades dinámicas del edificio de ingenierías de la Universidad EAFIT caracterizadas por frecuencias de vibración, formas modales y amortiguamiento, empleando la metodología de identificación no paramétrica de sistemas, a partir del análisis espectral convencional de señales en el tiempo -- Las señales se obtienen de registros de aceleración como respuesta de la estructura ante vibraciones producidas por ruido ambiental -- Para la adquisición de señales de respuesta se instrumentó el edificio con una red integrada de acelerómetros digitales -- Se determinaron las frecuencias de la estructura reflejadas en el análisis espectral y se validaron con las frecuencias predominantes en las funciones espectrales estimadas para las señales con contenido sísmico -- También se determinan las formas modales asociadas a cada frecuencia y así mismo las relaciones de amortiguamiento crítico -- Finalmente se encuentran parámetros dinámicos coherentes y con variaciones aceptables con respecto a los obtenidos por medio de la modelación teórica
