Ítem Tecnologías 4.0 en el desarrollo y crecimiento de economía colombiana : revisión de literatura desde el sector cafetero(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Arroyo Meza, Hernán Felipe; Jiménez Rodríguez, CamiloData analysis and applied technologies are a reality today and the agricultural sector is no stranger to it. Colombia is a country whose GDP has a high agricultural component and within this, coffee occupies an important place and is a product with a high socioeconomic impact now and historically, since its productivity and stability has driven in certain periods the economic direction that the country has taken. For the production of coffee, Colombia has large extensions of land and its geographical location is ideal for the planting and processing of coffee and other agricultural products, however, the country is highly lagging behind both in productivity and competitiveness, this explained in part by the rudimentary and backward way in which the industry develops its production processes; although coffee is the main national agricultural product, its techniques are also lagging behind, with processes that are too dependent on human capital. This degree work aims to evaluate, through an exhaustive literary review, the feasibility and potential impact of 4.0 mapping technologies, data analysis, constant monitoring, Blockchain and IoT in the Colombian countryside, specifically in coffee production, its background, limitations, perspectives and future potential, in order to analyze how public investment in these disruptive technologies in a field with backward processes and mentality, can imply in productive and competitive improvements for both the small and large actors involved in the coffee sector as well as in the development and growth of the national economy.
