Method: Hermeneutics, that is, a comprehensive analysis of the information, through the implementation of semi-structured interviews. Research question: What are the effects of clientelism on the selection and contracting processes of public entities in the Medellin sports sector? Population: employees and former employees of a public sports organization in the city of Medellín. Results: it is expected once the investigation is completed a comprehensive analysis of the problem addressed to contribute to sports organizations in the Colombian context with relevant information for their recruitment and recruitment processes, favoring the integral development of employees and contributing to their development ethical and professional sector.
