The purpose of this article is to give an account of the process carried out in the construction of an interpretative proposal of the extended techniques in the three selected works of the contemporary repertoire for solo clarinet in Colombia. To do so, we began with a contextualization of the repertoire; then, a first approach to the works and composers; and finally, an analysis and creation of the interpretative proposals for each piece. It is concluded that musical interpretation can be approached from an objective or subjective stance, in which the interpreter decides under his or her own criteria what is most convenient to perform the music. In addition, being so diverse and flexible, a reflection on the possibilities offered by the extended techniques in the clarinet allows the performer to be autonomous to approach them with freedom.
