    This work aims to evaluate the impact of PROKEL® (glycinte de Se) on the microalgae C. sorokiniana UTEX 1230 and S. obliquus ATCC 11457, with respect to their absorption, bioaccumulation, and toxicity. It was found in the lowest concentrations (5, 10, 20 ppm Se) the visible changes a priori such as the color change and the appearance of small solids that did not correspond to the biomass was much less compared to the control than in the highest (30, 40, 50 ppm Se), also in the latter after day 4, in which there was greater growth of the biomass, it begins to decrease significantly. It was also found that the Se absorbed by the final biomass is much higher than the amounts reported by research in which an inorganic source of Se is used, so it is possible to suggest that this form of organic Se facilitates the uptake of said element with the evaluated microalgae, in addition, a directly proportional relationship between the levels
