Ítem Conociendo los aspectos del entorno educacional del estudiante del 1er, 2do, 3er y 4to grado de primaria que tienen una mayor influencia en su formación lectora, promovida a través de la estrategia del plan lector, a propósito del caso de un colegio particular en el Callao, durante el periodo escolar 2009(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Angulo Zevallos, Amalia Ruth Carmela; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriqueThe Reading Program, as a teaching strategy in Peru, promotes an environment where the school principal, teachers, and parents are involved in developing critical thinking and reading comprehension strategies in different contexts. This was created as a result of the low academic indicators that students received in the categories of math and reading comprehension of the world evaluation Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA 2001). In the school, Good Shepherd, students from 1stto 4th grade put this program into practice, which consisted of 20-minute daily readings. The goal would be to develop reading comprehension and critical thinking strategies with support from the school and family members who were all determined to achieve it. While monitoring this program, in a private school environment, it was evident that there was an improvement in knowledge and the outcomes that were suggested to overcome the deficiencies at home. These key points were identified: • The fact that parents and teachers were working together and shared responsibility. • The increase in reading hours at home and school increased the students’ vocabulary. • Students’ improvement in creating questions and responding in a more defined manner. It is important to mention, how this was all achieved: • By identifying roles and developing strategies that created more interaction. • The strategies improved the child’s development in reading comprehension in an effective way. • Establishing a wholesome environment in the classroom, library and extracurricular activities in the school. To achieve these outcomes, it is necessary to have a structural process, set formal alerts, and create supporting activities and indicators that allow a time efficient and effective response to any situation.Ítem El estrés en las estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Santo Ángel : una descripción de la pandemia y el regreso a clase(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Botero Ramírez, Mariana; Cuartas Arias, Jorge MauricioGeneral objective: to identify how the students at the Santo Angel high school perceived their mental and physical health, school and peers, and family relationships; given the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic and the return to presential classes. Method: the analysis was carried out through a cross-sectional quantitative study, the research design is descriptive and was performed with the evaluation of Trianes et al. (2009), "the child stress assessment: inventory of daily stressors" (IIEC), this test was directed to girls between 8 and 14 years of age of the Santo Angel high school. Results: It was found that the perception of the students of Santo Angel regarding the pandemic and post-pandemic had variations, although these differences in their scores may indicate a correlation. We did not focus on using statistical tools that would allow us to affirm this, due to the type of study and the particular interest in the perception of the students, therefore, the content of the results yields data of an experiential nature, as to, how they felt and how they perceived the different situations that the questionnaire enunciated.Ítem La gestión de redes políticas conformadas por la sociedad civil para incidir en políticas públicas : el caso NiñezYA(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Garay Molina, Natalia María; Leyva Botero, Santiago; Turriago Borrero, CarolinaÍtem The ludic in the development of musical creative potentialities in early childhood(Universidad EAFIT, 2020-05-05) Mg, de Souza Siufi, Cláudia Jaqueline; Ph.D, Pires Cabrera Berg, Silvia María; Universidade de São Paulo; Universidade de SãoThis paper presents a vision of the creative musical development in the early childhood (from two to five years old ) departing from the sound exploration to the construction of a children's own musical making, having the playful activity as a structural basis for learning. We understand that the development of creative potential using the sound and the noise as a material of exploration allows the expansion of ideas and musical concepts, providing the formation of active, perceptive, sensitive and insightful subjects for a differentiated and open relationship with the world around the children. Based on the proposals of François Delalande and their interfaces with theorists such as Gilles Deleuze and Johan Huizinga, we propose an approach aimed at an age group which, although foreseen in Delalande's theoretical proposals, this particular age group is not sufficiently addressed in teaching. At the end, we present an experience report conducted in regular school with kindergarten students.Ítem Social protection to Childhood towards the Covid-19 pandemic. Policy and institutional implications of the government response from Mexico City(Universidad EAFIT, 2021-12) Culebro, Jorge E.; Hernández, Janeth; Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Unidad Cuajimalpa; Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Unidad CuajimalpaThe purpose of the case study is to analyze the response of the government of Mexico City to the crisis derived from COVID-19 and in particular the way it has affected the social protection of children in Mexico during the first months of the pandemic. Regulatory institutional design of social protection for children in Mexico, and particularly in Mexico City, is analyzed, as well as the activities of the government of Mexico City to reduce the impact of the crisis on children. Theoretically and methodologically the article follows the qualitative case study strategy supported by the literature on crisis management and institutional analysis. One of the main findings is found in the existence of regulatory mechanisms and programs from the international to the local level, as well as the weaknesses in the social protection mechanisms against COVID-19; Furthermore, the practical implications are found both in the generation of new lines of research and in the coordination mechanisms between the levels of government.
