In this case study, the reader must decide which will be the best financing option considering the financial situation in 2012 and the changes in the capital structure and cost of capital, explore new options or abandon the transaction.Ítem Consecuencias del trabajo en casa en Cementos Argos S.A., sede Sogamoso y Greenland S.A.S.(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Blanco Avellaneda, Anamaria; Garcia Rendon, Erika Sorany; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz AmparoThe purpose of this master's thesis was to identify and analyze the consequences, benefits, and difficulties that the employees of the companies Cementos Argos S.A. (Sogamoso's office) and Greenland S.A.S. experimented with remote work during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The dataset employed in this research was collected through an open and closed questions survey conducted on a representative sample of employees of both companies, which allowed the discovery of the most relevant changes these employees faced with remote work during COVID-19. The results showed a clear preference of employees for remote work and evidenced stability in company operations despite the disruptions due to the onset of COVID-19 and the lack of preparation in implementing this type of work. It is worth mentioning that the most esteemed convenience stated by the employees of both companies that worked remotely during COVID-19 was the possibility of sharing more time with their families while creating opportunities to socialize at work was considered the biggest challenge.
