These can also be understood as anticompetitive agreements, which have also been defined as those contracts, agreements or practices between two or more companies, and which tend to restrict competition. (Decree 2153, 1992, art 45) As a result of the constant presence of these market scenarios the SIC has based its decisions on elements that allow it to identify when a business cartel is present.
