Medical and scientific Cannabis in Colombia has been regulated by Law 1787 of 2016 and subsequent regulations -- It is interesting to make an economic analysis about the Colombian context and the activities that will be generated around medical and scientific cannabis, identifying topics associated with the offer such as the foundation of companies, their perspectives and approaches, product development, among others, and issues associated with demand such as the number of consumers, usability of products and potential markets -- This paper proposes a historical review of cannabis in Colombia, without neglecting the world situation, where different dynamics of legalization are evident, generating space for the emergence of a cannabis production industry and the adoption of consumer dynamics with different approaches (recreational, medicinal and scientific)
