    The purpose of this research project is to analyze and carry out a pre-feasibility study and the creation of a company in the cannabis industry in Colombia since the legalization with Law 1787 of 2016, Decree 613 of 2017, and the decree 811 of 2021, that regulates access to medical and scientific use. of cannabis. The purpose of this is to analyze the chances of success of an organization in this industry by analyzing the various factors that have affected and continue to affect this industry since its legalization. The research methodology used for this analysis is descriptive research. Since its legalization, the cannabis industry in Colombia has had to face different stages that make the success of a company in this sector complicated, factors such as the lack of knowledge of the great medical benefits that the plant has and its mythification, as well as than the ignorance of all its stages of production, the slow development and training of the officials who belong to the entities that regulate the industry. Understanding the dynamics of the industry will be key to identifying financial viability and the possibility of generating value by investing in a company in this sector.
