The objective of this study is to determine, measure, and communicate the social and environmental impact of the Commercial Use of Amazonian Mushrooms Program in the indigenous community of Concordia, Guainía. This information primarily aims to strengthen transparency and trust among the stakeholders involved in the program, including funders, by providing them with a high-value informational resource for their organizations. The study will clearly reflect the impact generated in the intervened community, particularly in social and environmental aspects. On the other hand, this study will be of utmost importance to the indigenous community of Concordia, as it will provide them with a tool for decision-making, attracting new investors, and consolidating a positive image by demonstrating efficiency and responsibility in the use of acquired resources. It is expected that this document will serve as a starting point for the indigenous community of Concordia to project its future while also identifying opportunities and areas for improvement. To gather the data, the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology will be applied to the Commercial Use of Amazonian Mushrooms Program in the indigenous community of Concordia, Guainía. It is worth highlighting that this program is in an advanced stage of implementation within the Concordia community, with plans to expand its reach with the implementation of the prototype cultivation system in other parts of the Inírida municipality. For the construction of this study, information will be taken directly from the population of the Indigenous Community of Concordia to reveal the impacts achieved during this period, thus lending dynamism and reliability to the final results. This will also expose the differential dynamics that concern work in territories with ethnic populations. It is vitally important to begin opening critical dialogues to transform the inequality gaps within communities. This will require initiatives that stem from the territory and its people, from local experiences that deserve to be replicated, as well as from experiences that were unsuccessful and should not be repeated or, if necessary, transformed. This is achieved by documenting and generating reliable information available to the general public.
