    Mecanismos de intervención del Estado en el mercado del cannabis medicinal, para el éxito de pequeños y medianos cultivadores, productores y comercializadores

    The following investigation puts forward tools of public action to intervene in the medicinal cannabis market, attempting to contribute to small and medium size farmers, producers and commercializers of medicinal cannabis in Colombia, considering its recent legalization, potential for growth, small and medium size startups may be left behind. In order to clearly define which tools to use, six startups were selected to study their success. Three of them, large corporations: Pharmacielo, Khiron and Cleverleaves, pioneers and leaders in the current market; three of them were small startups linked to associations: Asoprocanna, Miravallenorte, Muiscanabis. In all cases, success factors and obstacles were identified to define the right tools of public action in favor of small and medium size farmers, producers and comercializers of medicinal cannabis. Tools of public action include public investment, better regulation, speed up paperwork for exports, support and promotion of medicinal cannabis education and expansion to international markets.

    Propuesta para la estructuración de un sistema de seguimiento para la producción de Cannabis a través de Blockchain

    The growth potential for the Cannabis products industry worldwide is quite optimistic, and in the case of Colombia it is estimated that this type of industry will be one of the main engines for the economy in the upcoming years. This type of industry is highly regulated and demands from the producing companies in Colombia to offer information and traceability systems. Blockchain is one of the latest technologies that can offer the required information, at the required time, with the necessary reliability and transparency. The objective of this work is to propose a traceability system that supports the startup producers of Cannabis to achieve reach new market segments and be certified in international standards such as GACP certification, which can bring these companies more profitability and wealth generation for their owners and shareholders. In order to present this proposal, an analysis of the aspects that influence this type of industry was carried out, as well as a reference study of Blockchain applications that were used in other countries with similar purposes and the impact of the implementation of this technology for the Cannabis production chain for startups in Colombia.
