    This research is based on the empirical viewpoint of the perceived reality of sound and specially one of its qualities, the accent -- Moreover, as a methodology, a critical review of some important prior theories -- This article, as an information paper about this project, seeks to point out the importance and differentiation of the different types of accents, more than considered before, and their importance on the musical interpretative performance -- We will provide a theory and an analysis with examples explaining each of them -- It also recall the Greco-Latin metric feet, since they are the origin of the subsequent metric and rhythm -- This research seeks to improve the few theoretical sources about musical rhythmic issues too -- We have remained in the universe of common practice, with references to some ancient and medieval examples that allow us to bridge with the Greco-Roman feet
